Description:
Up for sale is a preowned Peavey JF-1EX Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Sunburst with a hardshell case. The JF-1EX combines traditional double-cut semi-hollow construction with a figured maple top, dual humbuckers, and gold hardware for a familiar, versatile design with a little more visual detail than a basic 335-style instrument.
The JF-1EX features a maple multi-laminate semi-hollow body with a figured maple cap, a set hard rock maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and Peavey’s custom bow-tie inlays. The 24.75" scale length gives it a familiar feel, while two humbuckers are controlled by a 3-way selector with individual volume and tone controls for each pickup. Hardware includes a Tune-o-matic bridge, stop tailpiece, die-cast tuners with tulip-style buttons, and gold-plated hardware.
This example is in very good condition overall with normal cosmetic wear from previous use. There are scratches across the back of the body and pickguard, along with a couple of dings on the back. A scratch is also visible in the finish on the rear of the neck, and there is one small ding along the body edge. None of these marks affect function or playability, and the guitar remains clean overall with the figured sunburst top presenting especially well.
