Yamaha SGV-700 Flying Samurai - Metallic Green w/ Gold Hardware - Made in Taiwan - Discontinued - Set Up（26A053）

Yamaha SGV-700 in Metallic Green with all-gold hardware — the modern revival of Yamaha's 1960s SG series offset, known as the "Flying Samurai." The SGV-700 is the dressed-up version with gold parts and rare colors. Discontinued.

The heart of this guitar is the bridge "double single": two single coils wired in parallel for single-coil clarity with extra body and output. A balancer knob blends the two coils, and together with the 3-way selector it gives you a continuous range of in-between tones.

Ball-bearing / roller-saddle tremolo for smooth arm use and stable tuning (gold arm included). Alder body, maple bolt-on neck, rosewood fingerboard (250 mm radius). The 628.6 mm scale makes bends and vibrato easy. Great for surf, garage and rockabilly — and it cuts through in any mix.

CONDITION
Very good used condition with small scratches from use, plus a small ding on the bottom of the body near the end pin (shown in photo 9). It does not affect playability. Frets have plenty of height left. Neck is straight with plenty of truss rod adjustment left. Electronics tested, no issues.

VISIBLE MARKS (please see the photos)
- Paint chips around the end pin on the bottom of the body, plus a chip on the lower edge next to it where the undercoat shows
- Two small finish chips (white spots) in the middle of the back of the neck
- Worn / tarnished gold plating on the neck plate
- No notable marks or dents on the fingerboard or frets
