Launched in 1958 alongside the Gibson Flying V, both models were a resounding commercial failure. It would be 18 years, until 1976, before Explorer production resumed, and here is its reissue by Epiphone. The construction is classic: a korina body, a mahogany neck with a 12-inch radius rosewood fingerboard. The ebony finish and gold hardware suit it perfectly! Sold with its hardshell case.
