Boss RE 202 Space Echo 2025 ish

The Boss RE-201 Space Echo is one of the most iconic effects units ever made. Introduced in 1974, the tape-based RE-201 quickly became a favourite among guitarists and studio wizards who adored its unique rhythmic echo sounds, warm character, and highly-playable sonic quirks. However, it was produced for just over 14 years — making originals rare and highly sought-after. But now, you can attain those inspiring and otherworldly sounds courtesy of the Boss RE-202 Space Echo pedal!

Backed by Boss' intensive R&D and their latest innovations, the RE-202 faithfully replicates the spellbinding tones of the Space Echo like never before. Built by the company that designed the original, this sophisticated stompbox harnesses the RE-201’s magic in flawless detail — from the magnetic tape and motor properties, to the vibrant spring reverb and colourful preamp circuit. But in typical Boss fashion, they've gone a step further and expanded the vintage Space Echo experience with plenty of modern features tuned for today's generation.
