Electro-Harmonix 15Watt Howitzer Guitar Amp / Preamp 2021 - Present - Black

I’m selling an Electro-Harmonix Howitzer, a 15W mini guitar amplifier, in excellent condition and barely used. It comes with its original box, manual and power supply.

The Howitzer is a particularly practical little guitar amp for getting a genuine amplifier sound in an extremely compact format. Despite its small size, which makes it easy to integrate into a pedalboard, it delivers up to 15W and can be used with an external speaker cabinet, effectively turning it into a compact mini amp head.

It features an instrument input and a speaker output, with a design intended to be used with a suitable cabinet. Its 24V power supply allows it to deliver a substantial amount of power despite its very compact size.

It’s an interesting solution for home studios, low-footprint rehearsals, or for building a small rig with the speaker cabinet of your choice. It can also be great for experimenting with different combinations of guitar cabinets and speakers.

Compared to a small amp such as a Fender Champion 20 or Boss Katana Mini, the Howitzer is not designed as a standalone combo with its own speaker and a wide range of built-in effects. Its main appeal is precisely its mini-head format and the ability to pair it with an external cabinet.

It is also considerably more compact than a traditional guitar amp head, while still providing 15W of power. This makes it a rather unique option for anyone looking for a highly portable mini amp head rather than a conventional combo amp.
