Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plain Top 2004 - Heritage Cherry Sunburst

2004 Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plain Top in Heritage Cherry Sunburst. I am the original and only owner, and the guitar has been kept in a smoke-free home.

The guitar is in Excellent condition for its age. The finish remains glossy and vibrant, with very light swirl marks on the front of the body that are most noticeable under certain lighting. There are no cracks, breaks, repairs, or structural issues that I am aware of.

I recently tested the guitar through an amplifier. Both humbucking pickups, the pickup selector, and both volume controls are functioning properly. The tone controls also function, though there is a minor crackle when the tone knobs are adjusted while the strings are actively being played/strummed. The crackle is not audible when adjusting the tone knobs while the guitar is not producing sound.

All parts are stock except for the Schaller strap locks installed in place of the original strap buttons. A Neotech guitar strap with the matching Schaller locking hardware already attached is included.

The guitar is currently strung with Ernie Ball Skinny Top Heavy Bottom strings. The strings are quite old and should be replaced by the new owner. The guitar has not recently been professionally set up, so the buyer may wish to have it set up to their playing preferences after restringing.

Also included is an Epiphone-branded fitted hardshell case. The case closes and latches securely and has a locking latch, but the key is not included.
