This 1994 Schecter Jazz Bass California Custom / USA represents one of the most intriguing and rare eras for the brand.
History & Provenance
Production Era (Michael Ciravolo / California Era): Made prior to the 1998 introduction of the mass-produced Diamond Series, this 1994 bass hails from the low-volume, premium USA/California production era. It features exceptional craftsmanship and hand-selected woods, evident in the prominent, beautifully figured ash body grain.
Year of Manufacture this bass is 1994. The neck plate features the stamped Schecter logo with serial number 94248, placing its production right after Schecter relocated its facility to Sunset Boulevard, California.
Neck Pocket Stamps: The neck pocket is stamped with "SC" (standing for Schecter California or Schecter Custom) and "3TS" (designating the original 3-Tone Sunburst finish). This confirms the neck and body are factory-matched originals.
