Product Description

The Ibanez Iceman ICB720FM Electric Bass Guitar in Cosmic Blue Starburst brings the unmistakable Iceman silhouette to a powerful, modern bass platform. Its dramatic body shape and striking flamed maple top create an instantly recognizable stage presence, while the deep Cosmic Blue Starburst finish highlights the figured grain for an eye-catching appearance.

Designed for players who want commanding looks without sacrificing playability, the ICB720FM combines Ibanez's bass-building expertise with the bold personality of the legendary Iceman design. Its extended-range 7-string configuration provides an exceptionally broad tonal register, making it a compelling choice for progressive metal, modern rock, experimental music, and players who need access to notes beyond the range of a conventional bass.

The instrument's neck construction is engineered to provide stability and comfortable access across its expansive fingerboard. A long scale helps maintain definition and tension across the extended range, while the wide fingerboard accommodates all seven strings and gives adventurous bassists plenty of room for complex chord voicings, tapping, melodic passages, and technically demanding playing styles.

Powerful Ibanez electronics deliver the clarity and authority needed to reproduce the ICB720FM's massive frequency range. The pickup and active EQ system provide extensive tonal flexibility, allowing players to move from deep, room-filling lows to articulate mids and defined upper-register tones. Whether used for aggressive riffs, intricate solo bass work, or expansive low-end textures, the ICB720FM is built to provide a distinctive combination of range, versatility, and unmistakable Iceman attitude.
