The Ibanez RG565R Genesis Collection brings back the high-performance spirit of the late-1980s RG design with modern Japanese craftsmanship. Built around a lightweight basswood body, it features a fast Super Wizard 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck and a bound rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and distinctive White Sharktooth inlays. Its reverse headstock and bold Candy Apple finish give the guitar the unmistakable aggressive styling associated with classic Ibanez RG instruments.

The RG565R is designed for fast, expressive playing, pairing Ibanez pickups with the legendary Edge double-locking tremolo system for excellent tuning stability and precise pitch control. Gotoh machine heads provide reliable tuning performance, while the combination of a ceramic neck pickup and Alnico V8 bridge humbucker delivers tight, articulate tones suitable for clean passages, high-gain rhythm work, and lead playing.
