Martin 00-28

The Martin 00-28 refines classic acoustic craftsmanship with premium spruce and rosewood tonewoods and a signature X-bracing pattern, delivering a rich, balanced sound tailored for fingerpicking and intricate styles.

Part of Martin’s Standard series, it combines vintage "Golden Era" design with modern enhancements like nickel hardware, a true bone nut, and a compensated bone saddle, ensuring superior playability and tonal precision. Ideal for seasoned players seeking authentic mid-century tonal character with contemporary reliability, the 00-28 stands as a versatile, high-performance instrument.

From Martin:

"The Martin 00-28 is a trusted choice for players who value rich, resonant tone and effortless playability. Its smaller, comfortable Grand Concert body size delivers a soft yet expressive voice, with clear trebles complemented by warm bass, making it ideal for fingerstyle, intimate strumming, and everything in between. Handcrafted with a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the 00-28 offers deep bass, rich overtones, and exceptional resonance, balanced beautifully for any playing style. The satin neck with a Golden Era (GE) Modified Low Oval profile, high-performance taper, and 24.9" scale length ensures unmatched playability.

Elegant touches like bold herringbone top inlay, antique white binding, an ebony bridge with bone pins, and an ebony fingerboard with abalone diamond and square inlays complete its timeless design, making the 00-28 a guitar you can trust to unleash the artist within."
