The Gibson SG Standard features all the characteristics that have made the SG model legendary. Its solid mahogany body is finished with nitrocellulose lacquer, which provides a glossy appearance to the instrument and fantastic resonance.
The mahogany neck has a Rounded profile that is fast and comfortable, while the rosewood fretboard features trapezoidal inlays.
The pickups consist of a pair of warm 490R and 490T humbuckers, known for their warm yet powerful sound, while the tuning machines are Grover Rotomatics with Kidney Buttons.
