The 1988 Charvel Model 1A is a Japanese-made "super-strat" electric guitar featuring an SSS pickup configuration, a basswood or alder body, and a bolt-on maple neck.

This particular example is in very good condition overall. Trem arm is MIA, the volume and one tone pot have been changed, and one jack plate screw is non-original. Frets show some minor wear at 1st position and have never been leveled. Neck width is 1.69" at the nut and 2.07" at the 12th fret. Neck depth is .765" at the 1st fret and .857" at the 12th fret. Original pickups measure 5.955k at the neck, 6.041k in the middle, and 6.047k at the bridge. Weighs 7.82 pounds and ships in a newer gig bag.
