About This Listing

Used 1984 Ibanez RS530 Road Series II Trans Red.

Very Good Condition. Just a few scratches here and there (see pictures).

In my opinion the Pro Rocker floating trem is one of the best around. It is easy to tune and stays in tune even on the deep dives.

The following is factual but some of it I borrowed info from another listing:

This 1984 Ibanez Roadstar II RS530 is a classic mid-’80s MIJ shred-era instrument, finished in a striking Transparent Red over a flame maple top with contrasting binding. Built on a basswood body and paired with a bolt-on maple neck, this guitar delivers the fast feel, reliability, and tone Ibanez was becoming famous for during this era.

The 24-fret rosewood fingerboard features dot inlays and offers smooth, effortless playability. Electronics consist of a pair of Ibanez IBZ humbuckers with Duo Sound coil-split functionality, providing both thick humbucker tones and snappier single-coil-style sounds. Hardware includes the original Pro Rock’r double-locking tremolo with locking nut, knurled Tek Grip control knobs, and Smooth Tuner II tuning machines.

This guitar has been professionally set up with low, smooth action and is fully ready to play.
