We’ve received a used Fender American Vintage ’63 Precision Bass, believed to have been manufactured around 2013.

The instrument features an alder body, a rounded rosewood fingerboard, and a maple neck.

With a fingerboard radius of 7.25 and a nut width of 44 mm, its specifications faithfully carry on the legacy of “The Pre-B.”

In addition to showing general signs of use, the lacquer finish has resulted in weather checking and discoloration on the body due to aging.

The truss rod has a little play left, there is no noticeable fret wear, and the controls are smooth—it’s in perfect playing condition.
